June Beauty Favourites

This is a little late but I wanted to share with you a couple of high street buys I got last month which I love and haven’t stopped using…

Maybelline Lip Gloss Vivid Matte

I got mine in shade 35 – Rebel Red , but they have a few nice other shades to chose from. I love matte lipstick but hate the dryness, however with this I barely get dry lips. The formula is so creamy. Because it’s liquid it goes on really nice and leaves a velvet matte finish which is so bright and ‘vivid’. They’re only £7.99

Maybelline Lash Sensational Luscious Mascara – Richest Black

For ages my favourite mascara has been the ‘They’re Real Mascara’ by Benefit, but I find that it dries out really quickly and after using for a couple of weeks I don’t like how it goes on my lashes. I was in Boots and picked up this to try because of the brush was the same as the Benefit one but was only £7.99. Since I got this I have not stopped using it, I love it so much, it makes my lashes look so thick and long with only one coat. I will definitely be getting this again.

When the sun comes out, you become more aware of your feet and the effects of wearing boots all summer has on them. My feet can get really dry and I was yet to find a foot cream that didn’t just leave my feet feeling oily, until now. Not only does this smell incredible but it leaves your feet feeling so moisturised, soft and smooth and its only £5.50

Garnier Skin Naturals Fresh 24 Day Cream

I chop and change my face moisturisers all the time, which isn’t great but I like to try out new ones. I have combination skin, an oily T Zone but get a few dry patches on my cheeks and chin and I have loved this and think it will be a ‘summer favourite of mine.’ It’s very light which is great for in the heat, but maybe wont work as well in the cold winter months. But for now, I am loving this and it smells lovely and fresh. It seems to be balancing out my skin too and in the picture above I mixed it with my foundation so it was a DIY BB cream and it looked lovely, and its only ‎£5.71!

I’m going back to July now!

Love Lucy xx
