Peachy Wedding Guest Makeup

Wedding season is upon us and last weekend I had the honour of being a bridesmaid for my gorgeous sister Tori and her new husband Gary. I also had the privilege to do Tori’s makeup on her big day but I will dedicate a post to that and her wedding soon.

This post is going to be a makeup inspiration post for guest or bridesmaids even who are stuck on how to do their makeup when they are attending a wedding this summer, or for when summer event really.

I chose a light, peachy look because the last thing you want in the summer sun is loads of dark, heavy makeup on. Especially at weddings when you know you’ll be up dancing all night.

For this look I used the Urban Decay Naked 3 pallete. With a fluffy blending brush I started with the colour Limit as my transition colour, making sure to blend right in the crease. Then with the same brush I used the colour Nooner just in the crease, moving on I used Liar, again in the crease but just the outer corner.

Then with a small shading brush I put Buzz all over my lids and blended it out, then I dabbed a small amount of the colour Trick mainly on the middle section of the lid so that it wasn’t too peachy. Under the eye I lined my lash line with Factory. I finished with a coating of mascara.

After foundation ( I would recommend a BB cream for a lighter finish) I contoured with Hoola bronzer from Benefit and used a Sleek blush in shade French Rose to finish off the peachy look.

I used Spice lipliner from MAC and velvet teddy lipstick also from MAC and dabbed a little of the KKW x Kylie Cosmetics creme liquid lipsticks in shade Kimmie. I love this colour!

I hope you like this look and it helps you if you’re a bit stuck!

Love Lucy x
