August Beauty Favourites

Hey everyone,

I know its SOO late (again) – I really need to start being more on top of this but heres some my favourite things I tried last month..

  1. Boots Tea Tree and Witch Hazel Foaming Face Wash

I bought this as I had heard witch hazel is really good for calming spots and I also love the smell of tea tree so it was already a win win. I love this because it’s really gentle on your face and I think the foam is a nice change to gel or liquid or whatever. Since using it my skin really balanced out. I’ve found my t zone is not getting as oily throughout the day and at the moment I currently have no spots (hopefully it stays that way!) Plus it’s only £4.19.

2. Benefit – Hoola Bronzer

I’ve used this for a while but I cant get enough of it at the minute. It is £24.50 and it’s literally the perfect bronzer, I’ve found others can make you look a little orange but this is just amazing. It’s completely matte, which makes it great for contouring and making you look naturally sun-kissed. I also love the little brush it comes with, it’s perfect for contouring cheekbones.  There’s a reason Benefit call it their ‘Beach in a Box’. They have also started doing a Hoola Lite which is literally just a lighter version if that’s what you’re after.

3.  Urban Decay – Naked Heat Pallete

You may know I am a big fan of the Urban Decay Naked 1 pallete, I’m not fussed on the others but when I saw the Naked Heat palette I fell in love. The pallete consists of 12 all warm colours, including mattes and shimmers. They’re amber-hued so PERFECT for autumn. It’s £39.50 and definitely worth it – I think I have said it before but the brush it comes with is great, one side is a blending brush and the other is a ‘detailed crease’ brush. This is personally the one brush I use when using this pallete so the price is actually really reasonable when you’re getting 12 pans and 2 brushes.

Thanks for reading and sorry again it’s over a week late!

Love Lucy x
