A huge part of my lifestyle is fitness and keeping myself healthy. Although I don’t get as much time to exercise as I would like to at the moment, it is a huge thing in my life and something I think everyone should learn to love. Because it’s not as scary as you think, especially when you find someone like Vicki and her online membership programme.
Vicki is a personal trainer and nutrition coach who runs various classes and boot camps where she lives in Essex. But thankfully for me and all of you who don’t live near her, she has an online membership site you can sign up to for only £19.99 a month. It is aimed at any woman anywhere in the word, whether you have just had a baby, never had a baby, if you’re older or young, a fitness fanatic or a total novice – this membership will work for you. Some of the training programmes unlock monthly, once you have completed the first couple of stages and are ready to step it up a notch. However if you find phase 1 or 2 is too easy for you, you can speak with Vicki and she is more than happy to unlock harder programmes for you, I absolutely love this. It is tailored to you, and Vicki is available to talk to and help you progress further and meet your goals anyway she can.
The membership includes all the exercise programmes you need for that week or the phase you are currently on. You get these on downloadable e-booklets that you can view on your laptop/computer or print these off if you prefer.
On top of this there is an exercise library (my favourite thing ever), full of short, to the point videos of every single exercise that is mentioned in the e-books so that you can learn the techniques. You can access these whenever you want, it’s great to look through the ones you aren’t sure of just before you do a workout. She also had extra little booklets such as ‘Mobilisations’ which talks you through the best way to help your body recover from all the hard work you’ll be doing. She really has thought of everything.
The membership focuses a lot on your motivation and goals. Vicki encourages the use of dreamboards because of how well they work in achieving your goals and dream body. She even has a mindset guru, Samantha Selby, who posts videos aimed to motivate you and help you get into the right mindset. There is a private Facebook forum you are encouraged to join to help inspire and support others, as well as keeping yourself motivated, and of course you can ask questions and get a lot of help from it too, it’s a little online community. The programme is all about educating yourself, being kind to yourself and creating principles for life. No crash diets here, no fads, just good, honest hard work and dedication to help you achieve the results you want.
There is a whole section dedicated to nutrition and the importance of it. Booklets full of simple, easy to follow recipes that are healthy and delicious. There are different recipe books, a salad bar one, caution carb and non-caution carbs recipes book (something you’ll learn about in the Nutrition Welcome pack). Vicki also understands that everyone will slip up and enjoy treats, go out and have fun, she teaches you how to adapt your eating habits when you go out, or to simply brush yourself off if you do go crazy sometimes. She even has a homemade takeaway book you can use on a weekend for a healthier alternative to a traditional takeaway. Recipes include fish and chips, Indian dishes, Thai and Italian – there’s plenty to go at!
In case you hadn’t already gathered, I highly recommend this online membership. It’s fabulous and you have everything you need in one place. It’s super affordable and you have Vicki to help with any questions you may have. The videos welcoming you to and talking you through each section are so honest and friendly, you feel like you’re in the room with her just chatting like friends. She is encouraging and motivating and understands how hard and busy life can get. You are encouraged to get in touch with her if you can have problems with the programme and fitting things in, she will help you to adapt it and make it work for you and your lifestyle.
Lifestyle, mindset and goal getting affirmation booklets and your own dreamboards are available to download too. She recommends books to read like ‘The Secret’, talks about the 80/20 rule, hormones and your cycle, along with hydration and supplements. If you decide to sign up to the online membership and fully commit to it, you will learn so much more than just how to exercise, lose weight or build muscle. You will learn how to create a happy, healthy, well balanced lifestyle that suits you!
